Boutique by design — capacity grows through engagement formats, not through headcount.
No account managers. No delegated delivery. No layers of associates between the client and decision-making.
The practice
The practice was founded and is led by Patricio Rivera. Every engagement is directed personally — no account managers, no delegated delivery. Over two decades of operating work across systems technology, operations and experience inform how we scope, sequence, and sign off the work.
Where we work
Three domains where the intersection of operations, technology, and capital produces the most friction — and where our work has traction.
Systems Technology
Full-stack architecture, automation, integrations, and technical decision-making at the system level.
We make fragmented tools, code and data flows work as one system, so teams stop improvising around technical debt, broken handoffs and unclear ownership.
Operating Execution
Delivery governance, process architecture, constraint-based prioritization, weekly cadence.
We turn reactive work, shifting priorities and ownerless decisions into a visible operating rhythm with clear bottlenecks, owners and next actions.
Experience design
Product, service and experience coherence across UX, narrative, interface, and material decisions.
We make the experience hold together: fewer incoherent touchpoints, less user friction and fewer decisions based only on taste, habit or internal politics.
Why this profile, not another
Most operating problems are read through one lens. An engineer sees an architecture problem. An ops consultant sees a process problem. A CFO sees an allocation problem. Each reading is coherent on its own — and each leaves the actual problem intact, because the actual problem lives between the lenses. The typical client is a founder, operator, or investor dealing with a problem that does not fit a single discipline — and where getting the diagnosis wrong costs more than the engagement.
The practice was built from three tracks that most consulting profiles keep separate: technical work in full-stack systems architecture, automation, data flows, integrations, firmware-adjacent prototyping and technical risk assessment, operating work across delivery governance, process design, fractional technical-operational leadership, KPI cadence and implementation management, and a sustained professional practice in contemporary art, electronic/robotic installations and interactive media.
The third track is the one most commonly misread as biography. It is not. Conceptual precision, aesthetic judgment, and the ability to hold competing framings without collapsing to one — these are trained skills, and they are active components of how we diagnose systems and communicate findings. A clear system map is not a design accident; it is an editorial one. An executive summary that the decision owner can act on in thirty minutes is not a brevity virtue; it is a structural one.
The firm is built on the assumption that operating problems at the intersection of atoms, bits, and capital need a profile trained to read all three without reducing one to another. That is the work.
How we engage
The working relationship, stated up front.
Fit before scope.
Every engagement starts with a scoping call. If the context is not right for what we do, we say so before it ends.
Fixed scope, signed criteria.
Every engagement has a signed scope and success criteria before work begins. No open-ended time and materials, no silent additions.
Exit by design.
Engagements end. Capability transfer is part of every scope. Retainers, when used, are structured to compound client capability — not to entrench.
